The James O'Keefe for State Treasurer campaign has created this privacy statement in order to demonstrate our firm commitment to privacy. The following discloses our information gathering and dissemination practices for this website: www.jamesokeefe.org.

   Contact Information

We are committed to building the Green Party in Massachusetts and hope you are as well. Thus, we reserve the right to give out your contact information to the Massachusetts Green Party, its local chapters or candidates. However, before we take such action, we will notify you in writing that you have the right to opt out and we will wait two weeks for a written response from you that you are opting out. Except as required by law, we will not give out your name, address or other contact information to anyone else.

Massachusetts Campaign Finance Laws require that we keep track of the names and addresses of all contributors. We must report the names and addresses of all contributors who give over $50. Such information is available for public review at the Massachusetts Office of Campaign and Political Finance.

   Cookies

While we do not presently use cookies, over the course of the campaign we may use them. If we use cookies, we will only use them as part of our efforts to increase the value of our site to you. For example, if we should add features that allow you to customize the site through my.jamesokeefe.org-like features. We will not use cookies keep track your page requests or other logging features.

   Our Mailing Lists

We run our mailing list in house so that we can be sure that your email address is kept private and will not be sent to Spamers. The only people who can view your email address are our list administrators.
