1) HISTORIC WESTERN MASS DOOR-TO-DOOR EFFORT IN NORTHAMPTON THIS SUNDAY!

As many of you know, Green Party candidate Michael Aleo is in a closely 
contested race in the special election for the vacant House seat in the First 
Hampshire District that includes Northampton and environs. 

Election Day is April 9--and we're calling on Greens across the state to join 
the over 100 local volunteers in going door-to-door on April 7, the Sunday 
before the election. Volunteers will be going door-to-door from 10-5 to get out 
the vote for Michael AND collect signatures for James O’Keefe, Jill Stein, and 
Anthony Lorenzen.

Meet at 10 at the Florence Community Center. Stein campaign representatives 
will facilitate a meeting about signature gathering, and then everyone will go 
out!

2) STATEWIDE GET OUT THE SIGNATURES WEEKEND--APRIL 13 AND 14!

Right now, the O’Keefe/Stein/Lorenzen signature drive is slightly behind where 
it needs to be to get the Green Party on the ballot. We want EVERY volunteer 
across the state to petition for the 13th and 14th in order to catch up! 

Communities across the state are planning events for this weekend. In 
Somerville, Gil Obler, Shelley Fite, and Andrew Hinkel are hosting a 
petitioning brunch, where volunteers will get to petition with James O’Keefe 
and Jill Stein. In Brighton, the Boston University Greens are turning out 
students with the goal of doubling the weekly Allston/Brighton petitioning 
effort.

3) O’KEEFE CAMPAIGN LAUNCHING A PAID CANVASSING OPERATION

The O’Keefe campaign is seeking part-time canvassers to work as petitioners and 
fundraisers. The effort will center in Somerville and in Bedford. If you live 
in Somerville or Bedford, or the surrounding area, please call Shelley at 617-

4) SIGNATURE BLOW-OUT SCHEDULED FOR APRIL 28--MARK YOUR CALENDERS

On April 28th, the Green Party petition effort will have a blow-out party, 
complete with live music, candidates, petitioning and fun, in Cambridge. Come 
to the Boston area for the Massachusetts Green Party convention, and stay for 
the party. Stay tuned for more information about the event, but please plan to 
come. We must reach our statewide signature goals by the end of this day!
