1. Letter from James on the state of the campaign
-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi Friends,

My campaign for State Treasurer is in high gear! The energy of my
supporters throughout the state has been phenomenal. In the past two
weeks, over 100 volunteers throughout the state have requested petition
forms—some people have asked for as many as 75 forms!

Each day I grow more confident that we will win! The Republicrats have
the money, but the Greens have the spirit!

At this crucial time in the campaign, we need your help more than ever.
First and foremost, we need you to gather signatures to ensure that
Jill Stein and I are on the ballot in November. We need people across
the state to collect signatures at a rate of 2,500 sigs per week. It’s
a challenge, but with your help, we can do it.

If you’ve already requested petitions, Thank you! Keep collecting, and
let us know if you need any more.

If you haven’t yet requested any petitions, please do so now! Reply to
this e-mail with your name, address, phone number and number of
petitions needed, and we’ll get them to you right away. If you’ve
never done it before, don’t worry! We’ll help you get started and coach
you along the way.

For those of you in the Boston area, go to:

http://www.jillwill.org/side.html?petition

and check out a calender of upcoming public events—these are great to
petition at! I am attaching the events for the next week at the bottom
of this e-mail. If you’re interested in petitioning at any of these
events, please let us know at 617-628-2922. We will pair you with
other interested people.

In addition to petitioning, we need volunteers to do all kinds of
different work throughout the state. If you are at all interested, we
would love to hear from you, either at info at jamesokeefe.org or at
617-628-2922.

Finally, if you haven’t yet sent in a contribution of $5 to $100,
please consider doing so. While $100 will go a long way toward helping
our campaign pay for its daily operations, even $5 will help my
campaign get Clean Elections funds. Don’t put this off—go to:

http://www.jamesokeefe.org/contribute

for instructions on contributing.

Thanks again for all your help and support!

peace,

James O’Keefe
