Friends,

Last Saturday, the Green Party hosted an all-day petitioning event and 
celebration in Cambridge. The event was EXTREMELY successful, and raised over 
800 signatures and hundreds of dollars for all the candidates. Thank you so much 
to everyone who helped make this event possible and who came out in support of 
the Massachusetts Green Party and its candidates.

Even with the Saturday's success, though, the Massachusetts Green Party is in 
danger! We need your help right now! We need to collect about 18,000 signatures 
from registered Massachusetts Greens or Independents by May 7, or the three 
statewide Green candidates--Jill Stein for Governor, Anthony Lorenzen for Lt.  
Governor, and James O'Keefe for State Treasurer--will not be on the ballot in 
November. We are currently falling short of our weekly signature goals.

If you want to be able to vote for Jill Stein, Anthony Lorenzen or James O'Keefe 
in November, you should call us right now! If you are in the Boston area, call

Western Mass, call John Pepi at 413-268-9276 or email jpepi at admin.umass.edu.

Do not assume that someone else will gather signatures. If you don't, who will?

Every Wednesday night at 5 p.m. we have an envelope stuffing party! Every 
Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday night, we need phoners. If you are unable to 
petition for any reason, these are great alternative opportunities to help out 
YOUR Green Party candidates.
