UPDATED SIGNATURE COUNTS

As of May 17, the Secretary of State had recorded over 13,000 validated
signatures for James O’Keefe and Anthony Lorenzen, and over 15,000 validated
signatures for Jill Stein. It’s a landslide—everyone is on the ballot! In
fact, the Green Party candidates ended up with more signatures than the
majority of major party candidates for the same offices.

Our hats off to all the volunteers and supporters who made this success
possible!

URGENT CALL FOR CLEAN ELECTIONS CONTRIBUTIONS

The James O’Keefe for State Treasurer campaign received an overwhelming
response from our last e-mail and we now need only 1,000 more contributions to
qualify for Clean Elections. The Jill Stein for Governor campaign needs around
the same number. We can do this!

If every person on this e-mail list who has not yet made a $5 Clean Elections
contribution to James O’Keefe and Jill Stein did so right now, we would
qualify. If everyone on this list asked one friend to do the same, we would
qualify with contributions to spare!

If we qualify for Clean Elections, every $5 contribution that we get will equal
around $177 in public matching funds. Never before have you or your friends
been able to make this kind of contribution for the price of a sandwich.

This is not about raising money, it’s about restoring democracy. Please
consider making just a $5 commitment today to protect Clean Elections
legislation and to support the Green Party.

To contribute to the O'Keefe campaign, just click on this link:
http://www.jamesokeefe.org/contribute/ce2.pdf (you need Adobe Acrobat Reader to
read this). To contribute to the Stein campaign, click here:
http://www.jillwill.org/side.html?contribute. Just print the Clean Elections
forms, fill one out for each candidate, and mail it to us, along with a check
for $5 to $100 to each candidate, made out to "James O'Keefe Election
Committee" and "Jill Stein for Governor."

Here's our address (you can mail forms for both candidates here:

James O'Keefe Election Committee; PO Box 441031; Somerville, MA 02144

If you can't download these forms, just respond to this email (to
info at jamesokeefe.org) with your name, mailing address, and phone number, and we
will get a Clean Elections contribution form to you immediately. Or, just call
our office at 617-628-2922.

IMMEDIATE NEED FOR VOLUNTEERS

The O’Keefe campaign and the Stein campaign both need hundreds of volunteers in
the next two weeks to solicit contributions, make phone calls, enter data into
our computer systems, stuff envelopes and deliver Clean Elections forms to city
and town halls. If you have ever considered volunteering and just haven’t
gotten around to it, now is the time!

If you are outside of the Greater Boston area, you can make Clean Elections
calls from home, you can collect Clean Elections contributions in your
neighborhood or a town center, or you can deliver Clean Elections forms to your
area’s city halls. Please give us a call at 617-628-2922, and we’ll connect you
with other volunteers in your area.

If you are within the Greater Boston area, you can do all of the above things,
AND you can help us at the campaign headquarters in Davis Square, Somerville.

At our campaign headquarters, for the next two weeks we will be making phone
calls every weekday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., and every Saturday and Sunday from 2
p.m. to 7 p.m. We will be stuffing envelopes and doing data entry all the
time. Just call us at 617-628-2922 and we’ll plug you in!
