1. USE YOUR YARD SIGNS!!!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If you have a yard sign, use it at your polling place tomorrow, or have a stand-
out tonight!! Let’s get as much use out these signs as possible. We’re just
about out of the signs here at the office, and we need to be as visible with
them in the next 30 hours as we can. If you have extras, please call the
campaign office, 617-628-2922 or email vanessa at jamesokeefe.org, and we’ll try
to get you hooked up with other people in your community to do some stand-
outs.

It’s also important to get information about the campaigns into voters’ hands.
If you need campaign literature, call the office, and most likely we can put
you in touch with someone in your region who has extra materials. We also have
downloadable flyers at our website, www.jamesokeefe.org, or email
vanessa at jamesokeefe.org.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
2. GREEN PARTY HARVARD RALLY/FORUM TONIGHT AT 7 PM
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Massachusetts Green Party candidates, Jill Stein and James O’Keefe, and
write-in candidate for U.S. Senate and peace activist Randall Forsberg will
meet with supporters and people who want to learn about their campaigns tonight
at Harvard University in 305 Emerson, right off of Harvard Yard at 7 pm. Go to
the Harvard Sq. T-Stop. Enter at Harvard Yard next to Widener Library. For
questions, call Steve at 617-493-7345 or Kate at 617-267-8594.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
3. CANDIDATES FOR PEACE
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Yesterday, tens of thousands of activists demonstrating their opposition to war
with Iraq converged on the Boston Common. James O’Keefe was there, passing out
literature and meeting voters, and Jill Stein spoke, as did Chuck Turner,
Boston City Councilor who urged voters to vote for peace by voting for Jill
Stein and James O’Keefe.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
4. VOTE!!! AND BRING YOUR FRIENDS TO VOTE
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tomorrow is Election Day and polls are open from 7 am until 8pm. If you’re
wondering where you vote, go to
http://www.wheredoivotema.com/bal/myelectioninfo.php. At the O’Keefe campaign,
we’re urging you to vote for Jill Stein/Tony Lorenzen for Governor/Lt.
Governor, and to write in Randall Forsberg, 950 Mass Ave, Cambridge for U.S.
Senate. Below are our suggestions of how to vote on the first three ballot
questions:

1) Eliminating State Personal Income Tax - Vote NO
http://www.state.ma.us/sec/ele/elebq02/bq021.htm
It is regressive to eliminate the state income tax and will shift tax burden to
the less wealthy. If passed the affect on the budget would be dramatic such
that social services will be further cut. We need a fair tax policy that looks
at all the taxes people pay, not just eliminating the income tax. (Binding
referendum)

2) English Language Education in Public Schools - Vote NO
http://www.state.ma.us/sec/ele/elebq02/bq022.htm
Unz Immersion Education is not working in California as children are being held
back. The law if passed would allow teachers to be sued for speaking in the
native language of a student. We need a more comprehensive education policy,
with a mix of language options, not a litigious law that forces parents that
want bilingual education to have to organize to get what they want. (Binding
referendum)

3) Taxpayer Funding for Political Campaigns - Vote YES
http://www.state.ma.us/sec/ele/elebq02/bq023.htm
This is the poorly worded non-binding ballot question that the legislature put
on the ballot in conjunction with funding this year's Clean Election candidates
is an attempt to try and fool people into overturning the Clean Elections law.
The wording asks if you want to spend tax dollars on funding campaigns. It does
not mention that candidates who get state money to fund campaigns follow strict
donation and spending limits. (Non-binding referendum)

AND, OF COURSE, VOTE JAMES O’KEEFE FOR STATE TREASURER!!!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
5. CAMPIAIGN PARTY TOMORROW NIGHT
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Join the James O’Keefe campaign and the Jill Stein/Tony Lorenzen campaign
tomorrow night to celebrate the end of these campaigns and our victories!!!
We’ll be at Slade's nightclub in Roxbury. It is located at 958 Tremont Street
between the Ruggles and Mass. Ave. stops on the Orange Line. There will be a
free buffet, cash bar, and live jazz.
