1. TWO WEEKS UNTIL ELECTION DAY--HOW YOU CAN PARTICIPATE!
--------------------------------------------------------------

The end of the campaign is approaching rapidly, and time is running out to get
the word out about Jamie and the other Mass Green Party candidates! Each day
your support becomes more and more crucial. Here are several ways you can help:

• Volunteer: get in touch with the nearest community coordinator to find out
what’s going on in your town. Call Michael Gainer, our field organizer, at 617-
623-4733, to find out contact information

• Organize standouts if they’re not already happening in your town. Get some
Green supporters together to hold signs and hand out flyers for an hour or two
in a busy area at a busy time of day.

• Put up a yard sign. E-mail Vanessa at jamesokeefe.org with “yard signs” as the
subject or stop by the office in Davis Square.

• Put an ad in your local newspaper. You can create your own, or you can
download an ad from the website: www.jamesokeefe.org.

• Send money! We depend solely on contributions from supporters to run this
campaign. If you haven’t already donated up to $100, please consider
contributing more!

• Word of mouth is a simple and extremely effective way to spread our
message. Tell your friends, family, co-workers, ANYONE about Jamie’s
candidacy. Help us get out the vote!

2. ALTERNATIVE ENERGY CONVOY
---------------------------------------------------------------

This weekend, a group of people in alternative energy vehicles
will be piling into their cars and embarking on a statewide trek to raise
awareness about the need to convert to alternative energy sources like
biodiesel and electric power for automobiles. Jamie will be participating in
it on Saturday, Oct 26th. It starts at 9:30am at the Fenway Star Market
parking lot, Boylston St. and Kilmarnock in Boston. They will be stopping in
Eastern Mass, Cambridge, Lexington, Leominster, Orange and Greenfield. If you
have an electric car, a hybrid, or a diesel car that you can fill with
biodiesel, join us and add to the convoy! Contact the Jill Stein campaign for
more details: 617-623-4733.

---------------------------------------------------------------
3. JAMIE’S UPCOMING EVENTS
---------------------------------------------------------------

This Friday, October 25th at 2pm, Jamie will be speaking at Jewish Community
Housing for the Elderly. He and other candidates will be discussing issues
such as the protection of Medicaid coverage, the protection of Home Care and
other home services.

This Sunday, October 27th, Jamie will be in the League of Women Voters of
Arlington’s “Sunday Afternoon Politics over Dessert,” a forum to debate the
ballot questions. The event is at 2pm at the Arlington Senior Center at 27
Maple Street.

The BU Greens and the Harvard Greens along with other Boston area campus Greens
are planning a Green Party candidate forum/rally for November 4th, the eve of
election day. The location is still to be decided. Mark the date on your
