--------------------------------------------
1. JAMES DISTINGUISHES HIMSELF AS ONLY TRUE PROGRESSIVE CANDIDATE
--------------------------------------------
Now that the primaries are over, it is clear that James OKeefe is the only
true progressive candidate for Massachusetts State Treasurer. Neither the
Democratic nor the Republican candidate supports socially and ecologically
responsible investments or investing in local Massachusetts communities.
Jamies platform focuses on issues that promote democracy, social justice, and
the environment. Check out James platform at
http://www.jamesokeefe.org/issues. He's also the only candidate following
Clean Elections guidelines for campaign contributions, so as State Treasurer,
his hands wont tied to big donors.
-----------------
2. HOST A HOUSE PARTY!
-----------------
We need people to host house parties so that we can raise money, gain some more
volunteers, and have a good time! It's also a great way for Jamie to connect
with the community and hear peoples' concerns. Give the office a call if you'd
like to host party at your house or apartment. For more information on hosting
a house party, see
http://www.jamesokeefe.org/GetInvolved/actions/houseparty.html
--------------------------------
3. QUESTION & ANSWER ON WEBSITE
--------------------------------
We encourage everyone to visit the "Ask James" link on the website and
participate in some discussions. Ask any questions you have concerning
campaign issues, and James will get back to you.
-------------------
4. REGISTER TO VOTE
-------------------
Be sure to register with the Greens to show our growing party support. You
have until October 16th to register so that you can vote in the General
Elections on November 5th.
